Today I learned that the restaurant argot for being out of something is "86". I, being an inquisitive sort, wanted to know why if the pizza restaurant runs out of, say, anchovies they say "86 on the anchovies". There was Googling done, but none of the answers satisfied me. I lean toward the navy code for taking out the trash is "AT6", which, of course sounds just like 86. If any of you people know anything about this, leave me a comment. Thanks.

Well, if Jesus really cared, he would save her.
As stated previously stated, I actually respect the people who won't accept medical care and trust prayer. These people walk the walk. And the bible says true believers will be able to perform miracles...so.

I hear people describe the bible as the greatest book every written. Then why can't it just be understood? How could there be a different interpretation for each person that reads it?

 Yeah, ask any Christian amputee.

"The Holy Bible"...you mean what's left after the Catholic Church destroyed hundreds of other "books" of the bible.

It's all a matter of power...

 Which one?

 The "real" one is almost ALWAYS the one your parents taught you.

 Words...just words. There is not true meaning in these words. I don't mean as a non-believer, I mean as a student of language. Read the next one and tell me what it could possibly have to say...
