About Me

My photo
I'm an artist, educator, militant anti-theist , and I write. I gamble on just about anything. And I like beer...but I love my wife. This blog contains observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while.

This is the Welsh flag.

For completely different reasons these four men were highly entertaining to their audience.

How, exactly, do you decide that that is a worthwhile skill?
^^5^^

This ceramic piece - does it remind you of anything specific?

How about this?
 ^^6^^

It is called tempering gianduja and it's a beautiful thing.

I got hung up on her silly name but have come to realize she is extraordinarily talented and beautiful.

THINGS AIN'T ALRIGHT Y'ALL

 ^^9^^

You think the political system is broken- look at the economic system. You are not wrong--the system is rigged.
All the gain in our economy - measured by growth in GDP- since Reagan has accrued to the top .01% (16,000 households annual with income of $111million and above): the gains from productivity growth, technology, the internet, globalization, foreign policy and US global dominance, women in the workplace etc.!  The rest of the top 1% broke even.  All the rest actually lost ground to inflation of nearly 200% since 1980.   Bottom 90% are actually transferring wealth to the rich, since US national debt now is above $22 Trillion (approx. $73,000 per person), and many of lower 90% pay a higher effective tax rate than the rich. DON US NOW OUR GAY APPAREL

RH: A bi young woman and a gay guy were seated next to me at the bar. She made a statement to him that went something like - "Then the gayest guy in the world came in." The gay guy said that he remembered the other gay guy and it was his opinion that he wasn't that gay. So I said, "On a scale of Elton John to Kevin Spacey, how gay was he?"

I've been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It's pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all web
owners and bloggers made good content as you did,
the net will be much more useful than ever before.

10% of the population pay 80% of all tax. If you attack inequality a lot will stop paying. You live in a capitalist system which produces a higher overall level of wealth than any society in history, yet you want to change it to Venezuala? Americans are spoilt brats; they have all this wealth and they are still unhappy...

I see you ran a "loading experiment" today. Today was he first day in a couple months that objects failed to load for me on your blog this morning. For me they were #2, #7, #11, #14, #25, #26, and #27(b). I hope they were all part of your experiment, and not a sign of problems again.
