I the 60s and 70s young people made a fashion statement by spending as little as possible.
They decorated their clothes themselves with a needle and thread.
Cheap headbands were in.
Everybody had an army field jacket that you could pick up at an Army/Navy Store for a buck or two.
I still have mine.
Many of us made our own sandals out of old tires.
You could wear a very cheap T-shirt...as long as it was tie-dyed.
But my favorite budget fashion strategy was the burning of bras. I encourage it still.

The Dornier Do 18 was a development of the Do 16 flying boat. It was developed for the Luftwaffe, but Luft Hansa received five aircraft and used these for tests between the Azores and the North American continent in 1936 and on their mail route over the South Atlantic from 1937 to 1939.

Bullshit! I used it in mural painting all the time.
This is the image they used for an article about the advantages of adding ground-up tires to concrete.

Re: your confusion about the device on the back of the motor scooter. It is a version of a centerstand. (kickstand) push down on it as you roll the scooter backwards and it raises the rear wheel.

I think she is coming there every day the same time, slaps the water few times and drops a fish into the water. After a while she puts the fish into the mouth of that beluga, that is trained to come for a free snack.
