About Me

I'm an artist, educator, militant anti-theist , and I write. I gamble on just about anything. And I like beer...but I love my wife. This blog contains observations from a funny old man who gets pissed off every once in a while.

*If a gay teacher can teach my child the difference between "they're", "their", and "there", I commend them.

But seriously, children have been taught by gay teachers since the invention of schools...we just didn't talk about it then.

"This isn’t a game. We weren’t fighting to score political points. We weren’t fighting to help one political party over another. We were fighting to safeguard our democracy and to protect the sacred right to vote. And so this loss comes with real consequences."

On January 24th at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT, we’re pulling together pro-democracy supporters from across the country to strategize about the next steps. If you would like to be part of that conversation, please sign up to join Monday’s Movement call here:

My great-grandmother’s spoon collection she gave to me!

My father traveled often with his job. Many times he would bring my mother a fancy cup and saucer.

Once he brought her a very beautiful teapot.

(This is not it.)

That teapot sat on a shelf directly above the sofa.

As luck would have it when I was a teenager, a basketball split...

And I extracted the black rubber bladder.

For whatever reason, I laid on the sofa and tossed the bladder up in the air, and caught it when it came down. When my mother saw me she freaked out and insisted that I not throw it so close to her beloved teapot. After she left the room I decided to toss it one more time...and knocked the teapot off its shelf. My mother stayed up most of the night gluing it back together and simply would not let me apologize.

SOMEWHAT UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS

Those people who bother to thank me for my efforts on Folio Olio.

"Instead of being an ass hole (like I planned) and taking a secret picture of this gentleman, I asked for one. He insisted we take one together. We ended up talking for a little while; he was kind, patient, interesting, and warm-hearted. He had a great story about the skirt and petticoat (layers of fabric under a skirt to make it full). He said that when he was a teenager he took a trip down Highway One (the coastal California highway) with his cousins. The whole way they were teasing him by ruffling their petticoats on him and showing off their legs. Since then he had always wanted to ride Highway One while ruffling his own petticoat. This week he did just that."

A11: 867-5309. Jenny, Jenny who can I turn to. You give me something I can hold on to. I saw your name and number on the wall.

Very popular song in the 80's.

Sounds like he's saying the percentage of black people that voted is similar to other American groups on a per capita basis. Poor choice of words though.

As much as I dislike the guy he's not lying.

Voting patterns also change each election, people might not like the candidates and simply abstain or there could be numerous other reasons

Forgot to paste that at the top off the comment.

Blue = B
White = 3*B
Pink = B + 8
Purple = (B + 8) - 4 or B+4
Purple = 9
Therefore B = 5 and therefore there are 15 White (3*B)
