I remember catching my daughter and her boyfriend. I purposely made a lot of racket in the kitchen giving them enough time to get dressed.
In junior high, they told us that on the standardized test they only count the correct answers and the wrong answers wouldn't count against you. I also knew that the harder more heavily weighted questions were at the end.
So, when the teacher announced that we only had five minutes remaining I filled out any back pages with all C's figuring I had to get 25% correct.
Every damn time.
My ancestor didn't move to this country for it to be overrun by immigrants.
*My brother used to say that armadillos were the only animal to be born full-grown and dead on the side of the highway.
I heard that NASA named their Mars rover Curiosity because the prototype killed so many cats.

My sister hated my father's oyster dressing at Thanksgiving so he made a portion just for her. All he did was chop the oysters small enough to be unrecognizable. She loved it.

I agree that the United States cost of health care is out of control That is what happens when politicians are for sale.
However, the Canadian health care system may be more cost effective, it is very inefficient. Hospitals in the states along the Canadian border do a great business taking care of the folks that come down from Canada for their surgeries.
As a side note. A disabled Canadian vet was offered assisted suicide because she wanted the government to install a stair lift in her house so she could use her second floor. She wasn't in poor health, she just wanted for her government to help her. They said "How about dying" instead.
And don't get me started on how poorly our government treats our vets.
